Welcome

Welcome to the School Department Front Desk Page!

The front reception desk is the first place visitors encounter at the administration building. The Receptionist/Switchboard Operator is part of the Business and Accounting Department and ensures that all guests are welcomed and directed to their destinations within the administration building. The front desk is also the central hub for incoming phone calls as well as assisting with registrations and lunch applications as needed.

Major roles for the front desk include the issuance of working papers for students under eighteen applying to work in Rhode Island. The front desk also administers the textbook loan program for privately placed students.
