I-Plan Training Information

Upcoming Training Date(s) in Pawtucket:
No further IPlan trainings have been scheduled in Pawtucket at this time.
If you need to attend a training, feel free to email me (Lynn Cristino: cristinol@psdri.net).
If I get enough requests, I will schedule a training
in Pawtucket. Otherwise, sign up for a training through RIDE.
Openings will be filled on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis.
If you need to be trained, but cannot attend any of these sessions,
contact RIDE to be trained in another location.

Training Details:
The training will start promptly, and run for the full two hours in the Technology Lab at the Admin. Building.
Before coming, think about your own personal goals for professional development over the next 5 years. You will have access to an electronic copy of Pawtucket's District Strategic Plan, but please review it before attending, and bring a printout if you think it will help you. (You can find it at www.psdri.net/curriculum)
If you have the letter from RIDE with your ID and password, bring that along as well.
Please read the requirements below (from RIDE's website) carefully before registering:
"Who is eligible to attend an I-Plan training session?
Educators who:
-have obtained their 5-year professional certificate in 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008 and are
USING that certificate in their current work assignment
are now required to write an I-Plan for renewal of that certificate.
-have renewed their 5-year professional certificate in 2005, 2006, 2007 or 2008 and are
USING that certificate in their current work assignment
are now required to write an I-Plan for renewal of that certificate."
All trainings are currently full. You should register to attend a training through RIDE. You can email Lynn to be put on a waiting list.
