Payroll & Benefits Office

The Payroll and Benefits staff are responsible for the timely processing of all employee payroll, benefits enrollments/changes, attendance and paid time off tracking. The staff must maintains payroll and benefits files and completes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to state and federal agencies. They are responsible for the preparation and distribution of W-2s and 1095-Cs for employees, assisting employees with their W-4's, direct deposit, benefits forms, life insurance, Frontline Absence Management system, wage verifications and 403(b) retirement accounts.

    Important Notice

    It has come to our attention that some employees have received an email with the subject line “ERSRI Support for Pawtucket School Department Personnel”.

    This email offers a free one-on-one consultation regarding retirement. While the very bottom of the email states “All licensed representatives are not employees of the district or ERSRI.” Some may still be misled by the subject line, the reference to the recipient as “employee” and other inferences.

    We want to make absolutely clear that the business soliciting with this offer is not sponsored by, contracted with or approved by the Pawtucket School Department, we have also confirmed that they are not approved by the Employees’ Retirement System of Rhode Island (ERSRI) despite any references in the email.
