Congratulations Carolina!
Carolina C, a member of the class of 2009 has been named National Youth of the Year by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. She was earlier named the Pawtucket and Rhode Island Youth of the Year, and the 2009 Northeast Regional Youth of the Year. Carolina, who is the first Rhode Island Youth of the Year to win Regionals, competed against the five regional winners and progressed to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Youth of the Year competition held in Washington, DC from September 11-16. She was honored at a lunch with President Obama at the White House.
