I am so thrilled to begin this journey with you. I am sure that you have many questions and concerns during this transition period and I want to assure you that the teachers and staff are working hard to get the building moved in and ready for your children.

We look forward to welcoming back students to the Baldwin Annex on Wednesday, August 31st. The 2022-2023 school year will certainly be an exciting and eventful year as we come together to focus on building a unified caring community.
Please review the important school updates and procedures .
- You should have received an email with bus information. If you have not received this email please call the school at (401) 729-6273 and we will update your email information
- Please be sure to check this website frequently for important announcements, forms and events
- The school day at the Baldwin Annex is from 9:00am to 3:10 pm
- Important Message to Families: For the safety and welfare of our students, please be advised that children can NOT be dropped off or left unattended on school grounds before 8:45 AM . There is no supervision available before 8:50 AM. School ends each afternoon at 3:10 pm. Please make every effort not to dismiss your child before dismissal time, as doing so will cause them to miss instructional minutes that will add up over time.
- Breakfast for all students will be taking place in the classroom at 9:00 am.
- Street parking in front of the school on Central Ave. is restricted to BUS USE only. Please do not park on Central Ave directly in front of the school from the hours of 8:30-9:10 am and 2:40-3:15pm. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ASSISTANCE WITH THIS
- If your student will not be taking the bus home on any given day, you must send in a note in the morning. We understand that there are emergencies, however if you call the office to notify us that your student will not be taking the bus, it is possible that the message will not be received by those who need to know. The main office is very busy
- If you made previous arrangements to pick up your child at school during regular dismissal time they will be brought by a teacher to the playground side of the building. Please plan to meet your child near the gate and escort them to your car.
- Students must bring a backpack to school daily. If your child does not have a backpack the school will provide them with one. The back pack will contain several very important items that will help guarantee the safety of your child to and from school each day. Please make sure that these items remain with your child’s backpack at all times .These items include a parent/teacher communication folder/ an identification tag attached to the backpack.
- At this time The Baldwin Annex is not able to offer COZ after school programming. Logistical details are being worked out and we hope to provide after school programming in the future. Look for updates in October.
We look forward to a wonderful school year
Best Regards
Robin Sweezy
