The Mayor’s Commission on Arts and Culture is pleased to announce the plan to showcase the talents of our city employees!
The first gallery presentation of 2025, “ArtWORKS” by City Employees: “Pawtucket Celebrates the People who make it Work” will feature artwork and crafts created by employees who work to support our great city!
The series will run from February through March on the second floor of City Hall and will include all arts media, at long as it can be displayed.
If you are interested in showcasing your artwork, here’s what you need to do:
- Interested employees can email a picture of their artwork/craft work to Toba Weintraub at toba48@gmail.com
- All emails/pictures must be sent to Toba no later than Wednesday, January 15th.
We’d like the works to not exceed 18X24, but if you have something larger than that size, please include the size and dimensions in your email to Toba—it if fits, we’d love to feature it! - You can submit 3D artwork that can be featured in other locations in city hall.
- Determinations on selected artwork will be made by January 25th with instructions provided for bringing the artwork to City Hall to be showcased.
The Commission would like the showcase timeframe to be extended so that fellow employees, family and friends can enjoy it! In addition, an opening night celebration will be held—date and time to be announced!
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Jennifer Kilsey, Cultural Affairs Program Coordinator at 401-728-0500 x 454 or jkilsey@pawtucketri.gov.
Thank you! We look forward to highlighting the talents of our city workers!
