Dear Winters Families,
I hope this message finds you and your loved ones well and enjoying the start of summer. I’m writing today to share some heartfelt news and an introduction that I know will be important to our school community.
Beginning July 1st, I will be transitioning to a new role as the Principal of Cunningham Elementary School. This opportunity marks an exciting new chapter in my leadership journey, but it also comes with the bittersweet emotions of leaving a school community that has meant so much to me.
Serving as the principal of Henry J. Winters Elementary has been an incredible honor. I have been truly grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated staff, inspiring students, and supportive families. Together, we’ve built a strong foundation rooted in excellence, equity, and community spirit.
I am also pleased to introduce Ms. Danielle Bishop, who will be stepping into the role of Principal at Winters Elementary. Ms. Bishop brings a deep passion for student learning, a collaborative leadership style, and a strong commitment to continuing the great work happening at Winters. I am confident she will be a wonderful leader for our school.
Thank you for your partnership, your trust, and your unwavering support. Though I will be leading a different school, I will always carry the heart of Winters with me.
