Message from the Principal
Goff Middle School is one of three middle schools in the Pawtucket School District. It is home to just over 780 students in grades 6, 7, and 8 predominantly from Potter Burns, Fallon, Curtis, and Curvin McCabe elementary schools. The student body represents a diverse group of students from many cultures and nationalities. Over fourteen percent of the student body is characterized as a special population – either special education or ELL. Goff offers a comprehensive educational program that prepares their students to be life-long, successful learners. They take their partnership with the home and the community seriously and work to establish an environment that values diversity and fosters respect for all individuals. Additionally, Goff Middle School offers a wide array of extra and co-curricular activities that are sure to get everyone involved. Whether it is a sport, a club, or a fine arts production, the students will find an activity that interests them and will get involved and show their Goff Pride. Goff PRIDE is the foundation upon which everything is done. P: Personal Responsibility – students will take responsibility for their academics and behavior; R: Respect – students show respect at all times for their classmates, their school, the adults, and themselves; I: Involvement – students get involved in all aspects of the school community; D: Determination – students are determined to succeed; E: Excellence – students strive for excellence each and every day.
