Message from the Principal

Dear Parents and Guardians of our Nathanael Greene Generals : It is with much anticipation that we prepare to welcome our students back to school on Wednesday, August 31, 2022. The 2022-2023 school year will certainly be a joyful event for our students and faculty.  Before I review the procedures, I’d like to remind you that Greene is hosting a back to school Ice Cream Social/Meet & Greet/Community Event on Tuesday, August 30th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. This is a great opportunity for you and your student to meet the teachers! Pre-K parents are asked to arrive at 5:30 p.m. for a brief Orientation Meeting. You will meet in the front of the building.  Here is information regarding this school year’s procedures.   This year, we will be resuming breakfast in the cafeteria, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:50 a.m. You may drop off your student any time between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Once a student is done with breakfast, they will go to the school yard to play until the 7:55 bell rings and students line up to wait for their teacher to escort them into the building. If your student is not having breakfast, they can go directly to the school yard. Pre-K will continue to have breakfast in their classroom.  School begins at 8:00 a.m. A student is considered late if they arrive after this time.
