Welcome to Curvin-McCabe Elementary School! At Curvin-McCabe Elementary, we believe that strong partnerships between school, families, and the community help our students achieve their fullest potential. We are committed to working together to support every child academically, to encourage regular attendance, and to nurture their growth as confident, caring individuals. We are proud to share that Curvin-McCabe increased proficiency in all areas on last year’s RICAS State Assessments for Grades 3–5. While we recognize there is still important work ahead, we celebrate the progress our students have made through hard work, perseverance, and the dedication of our staff and families. This year, we have implemented a schoolwide homework initiative in which all students are expected to read nightly and practice their math skills. These consistent learning routines strengthen essential skills and foster lifelong habits. Attendance remains a critical factor in each child’s success. When students are present and engaged every day, they are better able to learn, grow, and thrive. We ask for your continued partnership in ensuring that your child attends school regularly.
