Students from Shea, Tolman and JMW high schools took part in today’s Pawtucket Women’s Day Legislator-for-the-Day event at the Rhode Island State House! Students had the chance to tour the State House, learn about the legislative process, and meet many inspiring women leaders who are shaping our communities.

It was an incredible civic opportunity to hear their stories, ask questions, and see firsthand how leadership, service, and advocacy make a difference. Thank you Representative Karen Alzate and Senator Lori Urso who helped make this experience possible and to the women who continue to lead, mentor, and open doors for the next generation.

Feeling inspired to stay engaged and continue learning how we can all play a role in strengthening our communities. Happy Women’s History Month!
