Fall is in full swing, and our students had a delicious time learning all about it! Students at Flora S. Curtis Elementary and Curvin McCabe Elementary took part in Aramark’s Discovery Day.
They sampled fresh, warm apple crisp while learning about in-season autumn produce, basic cooking concepts, and healthy nutrition facts.
It was a fantastic opportunity to engage our young learners in fun, interactive ways around healthy eating and local seasonal foods. Thank you to our dedicated food service team and school staff for making learning about nutrition so sweet!
