Our third-grade Curvin-McCabe students had an unforgettable experience as they participated in a special nature presentation hosted by the Audubon Society of RI. The program brought the wonders of the natural world right to our classroom, giving students the chance to learn about local wildlife, conservation efforts, and the beauty of nature.
One of the highlights of the day was meeting a real owl up close! Students were able to see this incredible bird in person, learning about its unique adaptations and role in the ecosystem. It was a truly hands-on learning experience, sparking curiosity and awe in everyone!
A big thank you to the Audubon Society of Rhode Island for bringing this amazing opportunity to our school. We can’t wait for more interactive learning experiences like this!
