Last night’s School Committee meeting was a powerful reminder of the passion and potential within our district. Our youth were truly the highlight of the evening. Student leaders from across our schools stepped forward to share their experiences, celebrate the incredible work happening in classrooms and clubs, and speak confidently about the future they’re helping to shape.
Hearing our students articulate not only their accomplishments but also their hopes for their schools reaffirmed just how important it is to give them space at the table. They are not just the leaders of tomorrow, they are leading right now.
Moments like these remind us why we do this work and how bright our district’s future truly is.
