Our Jenks Middle School 6th Grade students had an inspiring day at PPAC seeing Hero: The Boy From Troy!
The musical follows a student who learns about the life and powerful journey of Congressman John Lewis, from preaching to chickens as a boy in Alabama to becoming a courageous Civil Rights leader who worked alongside Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Experiences like this remind us that everyone has the power to be a “hero” in their own way. We’re so proud of our Jenks Green Team for representing Jenks so well and for continuing to grow as thoughtful, engaged leaders!
