Beginning in the 2026-2027 school year, Pawtucket middle and high schools will implement a consistent approach to personal electronic devices aligned with Rhode Island’s updated statewide expectations.
This initiative is designed to support student focus, strengthen school culture, promote student wellbeing, and create learning environments where students can fully engage with their teachers, classmates, and learning.
Over the coming months, the Pawtucket School Department will share additional information with families, including implementation details, frequently asked questions, and school-specific guidance.
