Before our students return, our leaders are doing the work to prepare for them.
This week, principals, assistant principals, and district leaders came together for our three-day , built around a simple progression:
INSPIRE ME — Remember why you lead.
EQUIP ME — Lead with clarity and confidence.
ACTIVATE ME — Turn vision into action.
We began by reconnecting to our purpose with Eugene Hamilton and his powerful “Lead From the Inside Out” session. From there, our leaders collaborated around instructional leadership, stronger systems, shared expectations, school safety, and the supports our schools need to succeed.
And we ended where Pawtucket’s future is literally being built — at the site of the new Pawtucket High School.
Standing together at the construction site was a fitting conclusion to three days of work. Every leader in that photo will help shape the experiences of students who will one day walk through the doors of that school. The building is taking shape, but so is the system of leadership that will support the students inside it.
That is The Pawtucket We Are Building.
