Virtual Instructional Day Information & Guidance for Families

We are pleased to inform you that the Pawtucket School Department’s plan for a Virtual Instructional Day has been approved by the Rhode Island Department of Education. That means the Superintendent of Schools has the authority to make a school day a virtual instructional day rather than canceling school for the day, in the event of a school closure for inclement weather or another condition preventing the school building from being open.
Please note: not all days with inclement weather or the like will be virtual instruction days.
